THE NATIONAL ACCREDITING COMMISSION OF CAREER ARTS AND SCIENCES is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for postsecondary schools and departments of cosmetology arts and sciences, and massage therapy.
Accrediting agencies regulate the school and oversee the practices and policies of the school. This ensures that YOU the STUDENT receives the best possible EDUCATION!!

You can print the form from our site and submit by email or drop off at Pathway Vocational Academy. It’s really simple, just fill out the application, include a typed essay of why you feel you should be a receiptiate and why you have chosen Pathway Vocational Academy. How will you contribute to the community and future cosmetologist.
JOB ASSISTANCE AND/OR PLACEMENT
Pathway Vocational Academy offers employment assistance to our graduates. It is our objective to refer our graduates to entry level positions by providing names of salons, spas or industry related employers. We accomplish this through long time industry connections, past graduates either working or owning a salon reaching out to our school for hiring purposes and utilizing various employment-related websites for job searching. Our faculty and staff is here to assist you in resume’ writing and portfolio building.
Graduates have access to career options available via a one on one consultation with our student services department. You are always welcome to check out our Job Board located in the student lounge. Networking via social media is another tool used for job placement.

CONSUMER INFORMATION
Your desire and flair for style and beauty will blossom as you master basic, contemporary and advanced techniques in the fields of hair, skin and nails. Pathway Vocational Academy Cosmetology program will teach you how to:
- Succeed in the salon and use the latest trends in haircutting, coloring and design for women, men and children
- Proficiency in hair texture and rearranging for all types of hair and create the hair cut or style that will create success in the salon.
- Deliver skin care procedures for various skin challenges and types,
- Develop marketing and communicative skills that will attract future salon clients for you and your salon
Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Reporting- Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students
CARES Act 45-Day Posting Requirement
The following information is posted in accordance with Section 18004(e) of the CARES Act.
1. Pathway Vocational Academy LLC has signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
2. Pathway Vocational Academy LLC has received $31,620 from the Department of Education to award Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
3. The total amount distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of June 21, 2020 for the 30-day report is $12278.36.
4. An estimated 23 students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
5. The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is 16.
6. Pathway Vocational Academy LLC will allow eligible students to apply until the funds are depleted or until April, 2021; whichever comes first.
7. To be eligible, students must:
– Complete the needs survey (satisfactory evidence to justify the need).
– Have filed a 2019/2020 FAFSA.
– Are a U.S citizen or eligible non-citizen (i.e., eligible to receive federal Title IV aid).
– Are enrolled in a degree-seeking associate or certificate program.
– Are not exclusively in online courses for the spring semester on or prior to March 13, 2020.
– Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.
– Are not in default on a federal student loan or owe an overpayment on any federal grant.
– Have a high school diploma, GED, or completion of high school in an
approved home school setting.
– Have a valid Social Security number.
– Are registered with Selective Service (if required).
– Do not have a federal or state conviction for drug possession or sale.
8. Student awards are paid by check.
